Hugelkultur can be translated as “mound culture” - in which plants or crops are grown on raised beds with a mounded shape and form. This method of gardening has been used for centuries in Eastern Europe and Germany, often as a part of a border permaculture system.
The Grab and Go Garden was created to encourage the community to visit the community garden, but also to provide fresh organic produce at the grab of a hand.
